Guru Nanak (1469–1539) was a prominent Bhakti saint whose lifetime spanned the period when the Lodi dynasty fell and Babur established the Mughal rule in India. The First Battle of Panipat, which marked the end of the Lodi dynasty and the beginning of the Mughal Empire under Babur, occurred in 1526. Guru Nanak was actively preaching during this historical transition.
Dadu Dayal (1544–1603) was a Bhakti saint who lived and preached in the latter half of the 16th century, well after Babur's invasion and the establishment of the Mughal Empire.
Tyagaraja (1767–1847) was a renowned composer of Carnatic music. His period of activity was in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, significantly later than the events involving the Lodi dynasty and Babur.
