Coronary arteries are blood vessels that originate from the aorta and supply oxygenated blood, nutrients, and oxygen directly to the heart muscle (myocardium). This supply is essential for the continuous function and metabolic demands of the cardiac tissues.
Carotid arteries: These arteries supply blood to the head and neck region, including the brain.
Hepatic arteries: These arteries supply oxygenated blood to the liver.
Pulmonary arteries: These arteries carry deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs for oxygenation.
